Alexandra Pannell

Alexandra Pannell, M.S., is a Clinical Research Specialist with the HEART Program and an emerging health services researcher whose work focuses on cardiovascular health, healthcare access, and health equity. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a concentration in Biopsychology and a Master of Science in Biology with a concentration in Translational and Clinical Research from George Mason University. Her interests include hypertension, patient navigation, health literacy, and social determinants of health, with a particular focus on understanding how connection to care influences health outcomes in underserved communities. Through HEART, she supports community-based cardiovascular screening, participant engagement, data collection, and dissemination efforts that bridge research and practice.
